We welcome children ages 1 through 5 in our three core programs. We also offer a flexible school-age program for children ages 5–12.

We are open Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. We are closed on major state and federal holidays as well as Lunar New Year.

Yes. We provide home-cooked breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snack every day. Our menus are nut-free and feature a variety of nutritious options. Please let us know about any dietary restrictions or allergies when enrolling and we will do our best to accommodate your child.

Please bring a complete change of clothes, a labeled water bottle, and any comfort item needed for rest time. Since we go to the park daily, sturdy shoes that your child can put on and take off independently are helpful. Sunscreen is applied before outdoor time — let us know if you have a preferred brand.

Yes. Wisely Child Care provides both English and Chinese (Cantonese) instruction throughout the day. Children are naturally exposed to both languages through songs, stories, conversation, and daily routines.

Our program is inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophy, which views children as capable, curious explorers. Teachers act as guides — observing each child's interests and providing hands-on materials and experiences that spark inquiry and creativity. Play is considered the most important work of childhood.

Our core programs (ages 1–5) enroll a maximum of 5 children. This small group size means every child receives individualized attention and Winifred gets to know each family well.

Wisely Child Care is fully licensed by the State of California. Our license number is LIC# 384004096. Winifred holds a degree in Early Childhood Education from San Francisco State University and is CPR/First Aid certified.

Please keep your child home if they have a fever, vomiting, diarrhea, or any contagious illness. Children must be symptom-free for at least 24 hours before returning. This protects the health of all children in our small group.

After your tour, if Wisely is the right fit, we will walk you through our enrollment paperwork. Spaces are limited to 5 children, so we encourage families to reach out early. We maintain a waitlist when programs are full.
